Designer and craftsman Noritaka Kawaguchi

At the core of my creation are the words of architect Mies van der Rohe. As a designer, I embrace the spirit of "Less is more," stripping away form to its absolute essence. As a craftsman, I am guided by the belief that "God is in the details," dedicating myself to the perfection of every finish. My philosophy is not simply about making things plain; rather, as elements are reduced, the flawless execution of each detail becomes paramount.

3D structural design for jewelry

KUUKAN's jewelry is born from the fusion of precise 3D digital structural design and nuanced manual finishing. By completing all processes as a solo creator, my design intentions are directly reflected in the production, and the technical insights gained while working with my hands naturally flow back into the next design. This intimate cycle continuously and quietly elevates the quality of the pieces.

Moving beyond mere adornment, our stripped-down structural beauty redefines the "space" surrounding the wearer. It is a collection that explores the delicate interplay between solid silver and the silence of negative space.
